The mission of Dare-to-Dream.us is to (1) advance the knowledge of consumers of mental health services to empower them to to assess the quality and accessibility of mental health services, (2) to disseminate to the general public comments from a mental health professional's perspective on mental health news, and (3) to share information with other professionals. None of the information contained on this site should be considered a replacement for professional services offered face-to-face by licensed mental health professionals.

This site is entirely supported by the personal resources of David E. Johnson, MSW, LICSW, the owner. Only the owner is allowed to post advertisements.

All products advertised on this site labeled in the header as "recommended" are professionally recommended by the owner. The endorsement of the products listed were not compensated in any way and represent products the owner recommends to his clients and to collegues for the purpose of education on mental health topics.

All other products contained are suggested for review and represent no recommendation or endorsement of content or quality. Any revenues obtained from the products displayed are a source of funding for the development and operation of owner's web resources.

The identities and details of any individual consumers referred to in clinical discussions are changed to protect their identities.
